Bella 9000 Hybrid Sold

Built 2012, first launched 2016. Boat is equipped with a Steyr Monoblock 164 diesel engine AND a 5kw electric motor, so this boat is a true hybrid boat. The Steyr diesel has run for approx. 420 hours. With the diesel engine, fuel consumption is ~10 liters per hour at 7.6 knots cruising speed. Top speed is ~15 knots. With the electric motor, she sails for approx. 1 hour at ~6 knots and approx. 2 hours at 4.5 knots. Batteries are 12 x LiFePo4 48V/60Ah from 2016. The 5KW electric motor is connected to the shaft. Charging the batteries with the onboard 8KW generator or shore power. According to the owner, the generator has the capacity to fully charge the batteries in about an hour. The boat has two cabins, an aft cabin with its own entrance from cockpit. In front of the cockpit there is a toilet and a forward cabin, where beds can be arranged as one large double bed or two single beds in a V-shape. The boat has been kept in fresh water except during the 2021 season.
