Nice Joda 7500 with BMW 45 hp, tough, strong and quiet. There are many brands of Nordic pleasure craft here in the Netherlands, and that is probably because they are simply wonderful boats. This model from the Joda brand has remarkably a lot of interior space, both a round seating area inside and outside in the rear cockpit. It is actually a beautiful convertible without a canopy, with a lot of contact with the water. The driver has a nice dashboard from the BMW brand. It is very pleasant to steer from this seat because there is good visibility all around. The boat is easy to steer and mooring is child's play. What stands out is that the professionally insulated engine makes little noise, providing a wonderfully quiet ride. It has a nice round seating area at the back in the rear cockpit plus a coffee table. The driver's seat has a passenger seat on the port side, which makes for very pleasant, sociable sailing.
Behind the passenger seat, the kitchen has been built fully retractable and foldable. The woodwork is still nicely lacquered. The floor is neat and the hatches work perfectly well. There remains enough walking space between the rear bench, the lounge- cockpit- table, the kitchen, the passenger seat, and the driver's seat, it also all feels very spacious. The rear awning is nicely clean, the windows too, and it looks very sleek. The entrance to the lounge is wide and easy. There too, a round seating area with plenty of daylight and ventilation. The lounge feels warm and cozy. The table is very well arranged, not too big and not too small. This also serves as the sleeping cabin. The bathroom / toilet is fitted with a wide door and is easily accessible. There is a large daylight hatch nicely made above the dining table.
The boat is stored indoors in the shed every winter and gets a new layer of antifouling every year. The engine receives an annual service at the shipyard, is nice and clean and dry, and has no leaks. The electrical system is well-organized and neatly installed. The superstructure is designed so that the entry step into the aft cockpit is low, providing smooth access to the aft cockpit. The vessel is also easy to walk around on, thanks to the many safety handrails on the boat; these run from back to front along the entire roof of the saloon all the way to the bow, even at elbow height. The stern has a swim ladder.
