The Swedish Nimbus shipyard actually needs no further introduction. The shipyard has had an excellent reputation for years when it comes to building safe and well-built motor yachts. Sailors are more familiar with the Maxi yachts, built by the same shipyard. It is therefore not surprising that these yachts are appreciated by both motorboat and sailing yacht enthusiasts. The Nimbus 35 DC Corona design by Rolf Eliassen focuses on both comfort and seaworthiness. The cockpit on the aft deck has spacious benches around a fold-out table where there is room for a large group. Within reach is a refrigerator, and the sectionally rollable canopy provides shelter from wind or sun, making this a place where one can enjoy pleasant times. The table can also easily be converted into a guest bed. Through the door in the transom you reach the swimming platform, fitted with flexiteak and a shower with mixer tap. Via the floor hatches there is access to the engine room where the two Volvo engines are installed. Amidships on the right is the helm station with all navigation equipment within reach. On the left is a buddy seat with plenty of storage space in the console for items that need to be within reach while sailing. Below the helm station on the left is a cabin with two beds. This space can be accessed both from inside and outside. Further forward you come to the cozy saloon with galley. On the right is a bathroom with electric toilet, sink and shower. In the bow is a second large cabin with a double bed and sink. The Nimbus 35 DC has undergone extensive maintenance and renovation in the period from 2009 to 2012.
