A yacht built in the Netherlands to a design by Lammert Huitema at the well-known Vroegh & Alblas shipyard. Many have preceded you in choosing a beautiful Barkas 1100. This all-round family yacht continues to amaze everyone with how safely and comfortably, and with great enjoyment, you can experience nature and watersports. The vessel is equipped with, among other things, both an inside and outside helm station, double glazing, and a fine Webasto diesel heating system. The cockpit is remarkably spacious and offers ample room for all passengers. The outside helm position allows the skipper to remain part of the company as well. From both the inside and outside helm, the view is excellent for safe navigation. The wide gangways make it easy to walk around the vessel, for example when mooring. When maneuvering in the harbor and locks, the bow thruster offers a handy extra helping hand. The spacious cockpit is separated from the saloon by two French doors. The saloon floor is level with that of the cockpit, and opening the doors creates one very large space. The saloon is combined with the practical galley to port and a generous seating bench to starboard, whose cushions and upholstery were replaced in 2012. In the bow is the owner's cabin with an en-suite bathroom. The bow also provides access to the second cabin. This one also features a spacious double bed and is located partly underneath the saloon floor. From the saloon benches you can enjoy a wonderful view through the tinted, double-glazed panoramic windows placed at eye level. The entire interior was fitted out at the famous Anne Wever shipyard in beautiful teak. This Barkas does need some cosmetic attention, as can be seen in the photos, but is technically ready to sail for the new owner.
