More about the Bremer Spitsgatkotter 1390

This special ship was built in 1948 in Bremerhaven as a rescue vessel in riveted steel of almost one centimeter thick. German solidity of the old school. After many wanderings, the ship eventually came into private ownership and was converted into the cozy pleasure craft it is today. The classic lines of the ship stand out in every harbor and its robustness radiates. On board, you have the feeling that no sea is too high for her, and her past as a rescue vessel seems to underline this. The gangways are easily accessible and are equipped with a high and solid railing. Inside the ship, you will first find the wheelhouse. From here you have an excellent view of the surroundings, and here you will also find the ship's steering and the controls for the Mercedes engine. If you then go further forward, you will reach the salon via a small staircase. This is comfortably equipped and designed so that you can look outside nicely. Along the salon is another staircase that leads you to the galley. Here you will find most of the things you would expect in a galley, such as hot and cold running water, a stove, and a refrigerator. There is also plenty of storage space. Under the salon floor is a cabin with a double bed. In the forepeak is a double wet cell with a spacious shower facility with a toilet in one room and a sink and storage space for toiletries in the other room. All the way in the forepeak is the owner's cabin, also with a double bed and plenty of storage space. This ship does need attention, but it seems that this is mainly limited to cosmetic matters such as a complete paint job. But the ship's lines and build quality are still as good as ever. The interior is practical yet warm and comfortable, and a ship like this can give you many years of sailing pleasure, allowing you to not avoid large waters. Interested in this robust classic?
