More about the Finngulf 44

The Finngulf 44 is a genuine Cruiser Racer in the true sense of the word. It is a remarkably spacious and stable yacht with which one can safely make long crossings with the family. There are sister ships that have already successfully completed multiple circumnavigations of the world. In addition, the boat is very fast and highly competitive compared to most boats in its class, even today on the various racing circuits. On deck you will find everything to make a sailor's heart beat faster. The through-deck Seldén mast is 7/8 fractionally rigged and stayed with rod rigging, fitted with four pairs of spreaders. To properly trim the luff of the jib and staysail, the mast is equipped with baby and check stays. The sheets, halyards and trim lines are led to no fewer than 9 well-positioned Anderson self-tailing winches. A lovely detail is the step at the mast, above two dorade vents. The deck and cockpit are fitted with beautiful teak, and the cabin roof has a non-slip coating. From behind the large steering wheel, all essential controls are within direct reach, so shorthanded sailing is no problem either. The companionway leads to the saloon, with the spacious galley immediately to the right. This is equipped with, among other things, a robust Force10 oven/stove and a fridge and freezer. The hot water supply of Webasto is combined with the central heating system. This is much more effective than the usual hot-air heating. This makes trips to colder destinations no problem at all. The saloon has a spacious U-shaped sofa around the table as well as a straight bench. The teak woodwork features many beautiful details, such as the cabinets with glass doors. There is a very spacious navigation area with extensive equipment. Opposite the galley is a spacious bathroom with toilet and washbasin. The owner's cabin in the bow has a separate bathroom. The engine is easily and well accessible via the removable step. All in all, this Finngulf 44 is an interesting yacht for the demanding sailor. Surprisingly spacious, remarkably fast and highly seaworthy. The current owner has maintained the boat with great care, and the boat is ready to sail, offering the next owner years of enjoyment on the water. We warmly invite you to view the boat in Den Oever.
