Beneteau Oceanis 400 Sold

The French Beneteau yard has a good reputation when it comes to designing and building spacious and comfortable sailing yachts. This Oceanis 400 is a good example of a generous family cruiser with both pleasant sailing characteristics and a lot of living space. The design is timeless and in essence the boat meets today's requirements. The cockpit is remarkably spacious and has a foldable table with a bottle box in the middle. From behind the steering wheel you have good visibility and control over the boat. At the helm all navigation instruments including autopilot are within reach. Around the cockpit there are four Lewmar selftailing winches to which all sheets and halyards are led. The sails, of which the genoa has already been renewed, are still in reasonable condition. A heavy-duty anchor winch has been placed in the anchor locker so that the anchor can be raised at the push of a button. On the stern a integrated swim platform with shower fitted with mixer tap has been provided. The interior is finished with dark mahogany in beautiful contrast with the white plastic. The saloon has a spacious and cozy seating area with modern white cushions and a large table in the middle. On the port side there is a galley placed lengthwise with double sink, stove and a very large fridge box. In the galley unit there is plenty of storage space for provisions. In the bow there is a spacious double owner's cabin with its own en-suite bathroom, complete with large mirrors, a small sink and plenty of storage space. In the stern there are two large double cabins. On either side of the cabin entrance you will find a large bathroom on the left and the navigation corner on the right. The engine is easily accessible for service through the large removable hatches all around. All in all, this Beneteau Oceanis 400 can be called a very successful design with many playful details.
