Carena 47 Center Board Sold

The Carena 47 with hydraulically operated center board that we offer you is a well-maintained steel sailing yacht. The current owner has made significant investments, including in new rigging. The boat is very suitable for long sea voyages and permanent living aboard, but of course also as a cruising yacht, and a longer stay on board is no problem at all. Thanks to the lifting keel, the minimum draft is very shallow for a yacht of this size, making a large cruising area accessible. The boat can be easily handled by a small crew.

Upon entering the saloon, the seating area is on the right, with the helm station in front of it. From here, sailing is comfortable even when conditions are somewhat heavier. On the left is a sofa and a galley along the side. The previous owner lowered the floor, resulting in a lot of headroom in the saloon. In the aft section is the owner's cabin with a French bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. In the bow section there are two cabins with bunk beds, a second wet room, and all the way forward a workspace/storage area. The engine room is centrally located under the cockpit, where the engine is easily accessible for service.
