Well-maintained and ready-to-sail Koopmans 36. A robust vessel with a beautiful line. A classic, built to explore the world's oceans, and the combination of the hull repainted in 2017, the teak deck and the varnished teak superstructure means you can do so not only safely but also in style.
This lady is perfect for long voyages; the flowing steel hull with long keel gives this vessel a very comfortable seakeeping motion, and the deep cockpit additionally offers extra safety. The decks are easily accessible, and in bad weather you can sit sheltered under the sprayhood. This vessel not only has a charming appearance but is also built for serious voyages on open water. Of course, a simple pleasant day on the water or a weekend away is no problem either, and she is just as comfortable and enjoyable to sail then.
The saloon has a genuine nautical character. Finished in mahogany, it gives a warm atmosphere on board. To port is a practical galley with a stove and oven and a refrigerator renewed in 2018. To starboard is a spacious chart table, behind which, under the starboard cockpit bench, is a dog kennel.
Moving further forward in the ship, we find a comfortable and cozy saloon amidships. With a bench on both sides and a table in the middle. That table can, quite literally, be lowered at the push of a button so that an extra sleeping place is created. In the saloon you will also find the heater which gives off a nice radiant heat. Finally, there is a toilet room in the bow and a two-person cabin all the way in the forepeak.
This Koopmans 36 is of course a lady of age but still looks remarkably beautiful and is ready to sail for a new owner. A lot has been invested in the ship in recent years, such as the newly blasted and painted hull, the Raymarine chart plotter and Raymarine autopilot, refrigerator, batteries, engine overhaul, and in 2021 a new layer of antifouling was applied again.
Interested in a serious ship, built to safely bring you to your destination anywhere in the world, in style and comfort, at any time? Then this Koopmans 36 is definitely worth it!
