Nice Hanse 291, ready to sail for a new owner. The Hanse 291 is a pleasant sailing ship with, despite its relatively compact dimensions, plenty of space and comfort on board. The cockpit is spacious and thanks to the tiller steering you not only have a good feel at the helm while sailing, but when you are at anchor or in the harbor, it is easy to fold up so you have all the space in the cockpit to relax. To make it even easier for you, there is a self-tacking jib, ideal on smaller waters where you have to tack a lot and of course also for when you sail “singlehanded”.
Inside the ship, there is a compact galley to port and to starboard the access to a quarter berth. Which actually shouldn't be called that because it is larger than the average quarter berth. Amidships you will find comfortable benches on the left and right with a table in the middle. And in the forepeak there is an underwater toilet with a double cabin all the way in the bow.
Should the wind be a bit disappointing, you can count on a well-running Volvo Penta diesel engine, and for longer distances, there's an autopilot on board.
This Hanse 291 is an ideal boat for a young family or if you are looking for a nice sailing boat with a small crew. Everything is within reach and the self-tacking jib makes it extra easy for you.
