Catalina 36 Sold

The Catalina 36 that we offer on behalf of the 3rd private owner is well maintained and ready to sail. In recent years several investments have been made, including a new furling system and forestay, and extensive engine maintenance. From the dimensions it is clear that the American standard was used, and the boat is built particularly solidly. This Catalina 36 is equipped with a wing keel, so that the draft is limited to just 1.35 and a large sailing area is accessible. Deck and cockpit are very spacious and entirely made of fiberglass, so the boat is very easy to maintain. All lines are led aft, making the boat easy to sail. There are skai cushions for the cockpit, and in the harbor you can enjoy relaxing at the lovely cockpit table.

The interior is remarkably spacious. Upon entering, the galley with all modern conveniences including a microwave is on the port side. The navigation area is on the starboard side. Amidships is a U-shaped seating area with two chairs opposite it. Both tables can be lowered and converted into a bed, allowing for a total of no fewer than 7 berths to be created. Forward of the mast is the wet room with shower and toilet. Right in the bow is a cabin with a V-berth. In the stern is a double cabin with a very spacious bed. This space can be closed off with a folding door. The engine has recently undergone extensive maintenance, including new engine mounts and propeller shaft with bearings.
