Malö Yachts is one of the oldest and most experienced Swedish yacht builders. The yard certainly needs no introduction among experienced sailors. The Malö 45 is a high-quality yacht built as a true blue water cruiser for the demanding sailor. Of this design, this example is the more expensive "Classic" version with a positive transom. It is the ideal comfortable long-distance cruiser. However, the boat has never actually made long voyages. She is ideal for serious, long-distance cruising and extended stays on board. The centre cockpit is deep, offers good visibility, and provides good protection while seated. The targa arch is multifunctional and serves for the mainsheet traveler, thereby keeping loose lines out of the way and heads out of the danger zone. The arch also serves as ideal support for handholds, the sprayhood / cockpit cover and light fixtures. The teak deck still looks good. The deck layout is well thought out. Cleats, winches and other hardware - they are all through-bolted into metal backing plates that are firmly laminated to the hull and the deck.

The interior is just as beautiful as the exterior and shows remarkably few signs of use. Amidships is the saloon, where you will again find numerous examples of the shipyard's great craftsmanship. To port is the practical and complete galley. To starboard is the chart table and the spacious wet room with shower and toilet. In the forepeak is a double cabin. Deviating from the standard models, the bed has been placed slightly further back, resulting in greater width, with a compartment behind the headboard. En-suite there is a separate toilet and shower area. In the stern there are two more double cabins. The engine room is spacious and the 110 hp Nanni engine is easily accessible from all sides for servicing. The 1st owner had numerous modifications carried out during construction, especially in terms of the technical installation. The current owner has consistently had good maintenance carried out professionally and made a number of investments which you can find in the specification list.
