Contest in Medemblik has been building high-quality seaworthy cruisers for decades. This 34 has been carefully maintained by the current owner for years and is in good condition. For its length, the boat is remarkably spacious. The deck is covered with non-slip polyester and easy to walk on. The cockpit is very spacious and has the helm station with autopilot in the middle. Two solar panels have been placed above the sprayhood. The cockpit can be completely closed off with a tent. The halyards and trim lines are operated at the mast.

Upon entering, to port is the L-shaped galley with cooker, refrigeration and plenty of storage options. Hot water comes from a gas water heater. To starboard is the navigation area with the necessary equipment. The saloon amidships has two settees with a table in the middle. In the bow is the wet room and a cabin with a V-berth. In the stern there are two more cabins, bringing the total number of berths to no less than 6, with an optional 2 extra in the saloon. The 3-cylinder Volvo provides more than enough power and has an intercooling system. For those looking for a spacious seaworthy cruiser, this Contest 34 is certainly a suitable choice.
