More about the Beneteau First 325

The First 325 is a solid yacht built by the French Beneteau yard. Berret's design offers a lot of sailing pleasure due to the excellent sailing characteristics and the complete equipment, both above and below deck. The boat we offer you is well maintained and has undergone a number of recent improvements, including a furling installation on the foredeck. The deck layout is practical and the placement of the hardware is well chosen. All halyards and trim lines are led to the cockpit and the mainsheet and genoa sheets can be operated from the helm position, making the boat easy to sail solo. The genoa is fitted on a Facnor furling installation that was mounted in 2008. The mainsail can be reefed quickly and easily. The mast is sturdily stayed and equipped with extra backstays to prevent the so-called "pumping" of the mast in bad weather. For broader courses there is a gennaker, or reacher, fitted with hanks but can also be flown "free". The interior is remarkably spacious for a boat of this length. The cozy salon has two large benches with a lot of storage space. To port is an L-shaped galley with a double sink, cooler box, stove and oven. The wet room with washbasin is easily accessible and there is sufficient room to move around. To starboard is the navigation area with switch panel, VHF radio and GPS. The rest of the navigation instruments are mounted so they are easy to read above the cabin entrance. There are two double berths in the bow and stern. The aft cabin is surprisingly large, even compared to many larger modern vessels. This design by Berret can be called successful and modern. The space has been used effectively. She is fully ready to sail in Lelystad. Make an appointment for a viewing via [email protected]. Your yacht broker is Robert de Vries, +31(0)6 5020 1336.
