More about the Van de Stadt Samoa 49

The Samoa 49 is known as a very seaworthy and solid vessel. This vessel has proven her worth and is therefore equipped to sail the world's oceans. Over the past months, the ship has undergone a major refit to the exterior. Aquarius is ready for a new owner to set off again right away. When you see the ship lying in the harbor, it is immediately clear that this Samoa is not to be trifled with. The ship is equipped with many options to stay away for a long time without having to call at a port. The deck layout matches this as well. The ship features a 7/8 rig with a cutter stay and various electric/hydraulic winches. Shorthanded sailing is therefore no problem. The ship underwent a major exterior refit in 2011, during which, among other things, everything was repainted and the teak deck was completely newly re-rubbered. Inside you will find a spacious and practical layout. The galley, the saloon and the chart table offer a lot of usable space and just as much comfort. The ship is equipped with 3 double cabins and 2 generous wet cells. Everything is focused on maximum comfort, both at sea and at anchor. The finishing and interior fitting was done very carefully in 1993 by Spiro Ships in Enkhuizen. In terms of equipment, you can think of a generator, watermaker, washing machine, wind generator, davits, iridium phone and much more. See the specifications for an indication. Ask us for the extensive list of options and additions if you would like to know more about this ship. The ship is located in Cap D'Agde, making a viewing extra attractive.
