Contrast 362 Sold

The Contrast 362 is a typical Scandinavian vessel, designed by Rolf Magnusson and built in Sweden at the Contrast Bator shipyard. The ship is characterized by its low freeboard, beautiful finish inside and out, and above-average sailing characteristics. On board, the relatively spacious cockpit and the logical layout of the deck fittings are striking. This ship is made for sailing, that much is clear. The gangways are easily accessible and, exceptionally for a Scandinavian ship of this age, the decks are not fitted with teak. This saves on maintenance and a significant cost in the long run. Inside the ship, everything is beautifully finished with teak and mahogany, which creates a warm and nautical ambiance. The layout is remarkably practical with a spacious galley and access to the wet cell on the starboard side. On the port side is the chart table and access to the aft cabin. Amidships, there are longitudinal benches with a table in the middle. In the forepeak is the second cabin and plenty of storage space. The current owner invested a lot in the ship in 2004 to bring it completely up-to-date. For example, a new mainsail was purchased, a compressor for the refrigerator, a complete NASA instrument set, the complete electrical system was overhauled, and many other things.
