A Dragon needs little explanation for most watersports enthusiasts. However, the example we are offering you here is even more unique in every respect. It is a fully rebuilt Dragon from 1937. The boat is in 100% perfect condition (just like new), an example for the ultimate enthusiast. Total renovation costs in 2005 amounted to almost € 150,000. Now for sale again due to new wishes. The boat was fully rebuilt by Jan Vandamme from Zeebrugge. Some original details have been restored, the rest has been completely renewed. Extensive use of beautiful mahogany and teak wood. The hull is fitted with 21 layers of varnish. All fittings are from Davey & Co, all below-deck blocks from Harken Racing. Several upgrades were also carried out again in 2008, as well as the varnish work and the antifouling. A trailer from 2008 is also included. The beautiful sails can be fully operated from the cockpit. The genoa is fitted with a Harken furling system, which is neatly built in below deck. Due to its design, this Dragon is easy to sail. The Lombardini diesel engine is installed in such a way that it can easily be removed for racing enthusiasts. This engine offers a lot of extra comfort and convenience, and is a real upgrade for the boat. The owner would be happy to show you this boat and tell you more about it. A trip to Eemnes is definitely worthwhile and we can really recommend it to you.
