One Off Trimaran, design by Bengt Quorning This Trimaran was designed by Bengt Quorning, who, together with his brother, founded the famous 'Dragonfly' shipyard. 2 years after this design, they started building trimarans with the so-called Swing-wing system. This One Off is probably a design study by the Quornings. The current owner has owned the tri for ten years and has invested more than 6000 hours in restoring her to what she is now. The sailing characteristics are not comparable to a monohull, and once you have sailed a tri on the open water, you will become addicted to her speed. Stepping onto one of the hulls, you immediately experience the enormous stability of a Multi hull. The 2 beams on starboard and port have large inspection hatches. In the hulls, you can store a lot of (large) material. Further on board, there is a considerable cockpit. When you enter the salon, the two high-lying berths immediately stand out.
