The Sigma 38 is a sporty yacht, built in England. Especially there is a fanatical group of racing sailors who often sail in one-design class races. But the boat has certainly also proven successful as a cruising yacht and has pleasant sea behavior. With a fast-sailing and seaworthy yacht, further vacation destinations become accessible. The Sigma 38 has beautiful lines and a fractional rig with two pairs of swept-back spreaders. The backstays can be used to properly trim the luff of the jib. The deck is easy to walk on and fitted with an anti-slip profile. All lines are led to the cockpit so that reefing and trimming can be done from behind the sprayhood. There are, by the way, a couple of impressive 52" Lewmar winches here. The teak interior is neat and shipshape. Upon entering, the navigation table with the necessary equipment is on the left. On the right is the galley with, next to a 2-burner stove and oven, also a spacious refrigerator. The saloon has a large table in the middle, and around it there is seating on the benches for a large group. Behind the benches are two more sea berths. In the bow is a multi-functional space. There is a double V-berth here, but underneath it is sail storage with a step for easily stepping in and out of the hatch. To the right of the mast is the wet cell with toilet and washbasin. In the aft section there are two more cabins, each with a double bed. The engine is placed midships and is easily accessible all around thanks to the removable cover. This Sigma 38 is in excellent maintained condition and fully ready to sail. For those looking for a fast and comfortable yacht, this is an interesting choice.
