The Carena 38 MS is a sturdy and seaworthy yacht, very solidly built by GM yachting in Stellendam. A long keel is welded to the round frame hull, and the rudder is mounted on a solid skeg. The skeg itself also protects the propeller. All in all, the Carena 38 is a robust yacht, suitable for long voyages. The safe sheltered cockpit offers good protection for the crew, but in less favorable conditions steering can also be done from inside. From the wheelhouse there is good all-round visibility. The cutter rigging is heavy-duty, as are all deck fittings, sea railing, and anchor gear. The interior has a nice "nautical" feel and is made with mahogany and a teak floor. In the midship there is a table with a U-shaped bench. On the right is the L-shaped galley with stove, oven, and refrigerator. A striking detail is the beautiful stove in the midship. There is a separate forepeak with two berths. In the aft section there is a spacious pilot berth. On the right midship there is a bathroom with toilet and sink. The engine is accessed through a large hatch in the floor of the wheelhouse. The Carena 38 MS is an ideal yacht for those who value seaworthiness and solidity.
