Kolibri 950 Sold

The Kolibri 950 is a sporty yacht for larger waters with spacious accommodation. Below deck you will find headroom throughout the entire cabin. In the front of the yacht, a double berth of Dutch length, with watertight compartments below that serve as storage space. Fresh air through the ventilation hatch. In the saloon, 2 longitudinal benches where 6 adults can sit. Between them, a table with foldable leaves and a bottle storage compartment. Of course, easily accessible storage compartments. And lockable cupboards under all gangways.

 

To starboard, the longitudinal navigation corner with chart storage and enough space for instruments. Opposite this, the galley with sink and gimballed oven/stove and space for a cool box. Next to the cabin entrance, a large enclosed space for toilet and washbasin. In the aft, to port, a double berth and to starboard, spacious lockers.

 

This 950 has a winged keel and a masthead rig. The yacht is equipped with a through-hull rudder and a 19 HP inboard diesel engine. Of course, all sailing functions can be operated from the cockpit. All this makes the 950 a versatile yacht.

 

The hulls of the Kolibris consist of a laminate of noble veneer layers and 2-component synthetic resin adhesives. This whole is pressed under high pressure into a dimensionally stable hull. The weight of this skin is about half that of polyester with equal strength. The hull shell has a continuous laminated keel beam on the inside as a backbone. In the hull, the frames are glued, on which a fixed double bottom plate is then glued. The underlying space is pre-preserved with epoxy resins.
