Beautiful aluminum Northern Comfort 43 sailing yacht with cutter rig. Yacht architect Dick Zaal is one of the most well-known and experienced Dutch yacht architects, known among other things as the house architect of Contest Yachts, and certainly needs no introduction among experienced sailors. His designs excel in seaworthiness and are therefore popular among, among others, those setting off on long voyages. Northern Comfort 43 is a high-quality yacht built of aluminum and insulated with PU foam above the waterline. It is a true offshore sailing yacht for the demanding sailor, ideal as a comfortable long-distance cruising boat, partly thanks to the 2.16 meter deep keel and fixed sprayhood. The boat underwent a very extensive refit during the winter period of 2012 - 2013, see all details about this in the specification list. Since then, the boat has always been well maintained and is in fully sail-ready condition.

The interior is certainly as beautiful as the exterior with light oak paneling. There is a fixed sprayhood from where you have a good overview of the boat and surroundings and can sit sheltered, which is ideal in heavier conditions. Upon entering through the so-called doghouse, the navigation corner is on the port side with all navigation and communication equipment here. On the starboard side is the wet cell with toilet and shower. Amidships is the saloon with a settee along the port side and an L-shaped settee on the starboard side. On the starboard side is the practical galley with a solid Force-10 gas stove-oven combination and refrigeration. In the forepeak is the owner's cabin with a double V-bed and en-suite wet cell with shower. The engine room at the entrance was refurbished in 2012-2013 and the engine is easily accessible for service from all sides.
