Very fast, sharply designed cruiser/racer; highly suitable for day races
Due to circumstances, this cruiser/racer designed by Paul Elvström and Jan Kjaerulff is coming onto the market. Approximately 30 examples of this Mosquito 104 have been built. This type of boat was built to sail extremely fast in relatively light weather; it is also fairly basic in design, which also helps keep the weight low.
The engine, mast, and rigging have already been replaced in the years behind us. The mast is long, which means that this boat is a bit 'overpowered' with this sail set. Lots of speed in light weather, but also quick to reef at 4Bft. Furthermore, a set of Hagoort sails is included (mainsail from 2015 and high aspect jib). There is also an old genoa and a lightly used spinnaker. The furlex system was replaced in 2019.
Inside, from front to back: in the bow there is storage space, further aft there are 2 settees, a small galley with an Origo spirit stove, and the engine box combined with the steps leading outside. On both the port and starboard side, next to the steps, there is a single berth.
The cockpit has a seating section and a section for the pilot.
