The Compromis 888 is anything but a Compromis. This lovely boat is very practical and an excellent example of high-quality Dutch pleasure craft building. Zaadnoordijk Yachtbuilders has perfectly brought the Frans Maas design to life. All important features such as safety, comfort, practical usability and good sailing characteristics are combined in the Compromis 888.

The decks are wide and easily accessible. Safety is provided by the TBS anti-slip mats for good grip and the sturdy railing all around. Furthermore, the cockpit is deep and spacious. Here you can relax nicely and for the enthusiastic sailors it is also a great workspace. The tiller gives a perfectly direct feel on the helm and you can brace yourself well against the teak-finished cockpit benches. Even in less pleasant weather it is comfortable to stay here thanks to the sturdy sprayhood.

Once moored or anchored, the zip-on cockpit tent provides complete shelter over the entire cockpit. This Compromis 888 is also equipped with a mast lowering system, and combined with the shallow draft of the vessel, this allows you to reach sailing areas that may remain inaccessible to others. Inside the boat, the neat finish and the owner's love for the boat stand out. Everything looks well maintained and is in good condition.

The boat has a practical layout with a simple but practical galley on the port side. On the starboard side is the chart table and the control panel for the onboard systems. Amidships there are comfortable benches with enough seating for all occupants. Staying overnight is of course also possible, with a cabin in the bow fitted with a V-berth and the necessary storage space. In the aft part of the ship is the second cabin, also with the necessary storage space and a double bed. Also in the aft part of the ship, on the port side, is a wet room.
