The Rival 32 designed by Peter Brett is a very stable and seaworthy boat. The boat has a classic look with beautiful lines. The deck is spacious and easily accessible, all deck hardware is of good quality. With the shallow draft, a large sailing area can be reached. The boat has been well maintained and has always been stored in the shed during winter. The sail wardrobe is very extensive with 7 sails, most of which are practically new; the storm jib, spinnaker, and a spare mainsail are older but still perfectly usable.
The interior is beautifully finished and remarkably tidy for a boat of this age. The salon is fitted with two settees with attractive blue upholstery, with a table in between. The galley is practically designed and equipped with a sink, and cooking is possible on a 2-burner alcohol stove. To the right of the entrance is the chart table with the necessary equipment. There are 2 fixed sleeping places in the cabin in the bow, and 3 more sleeping places can be made on the salon settees and in the pilot berth.
