Very well maintained Hallberg Rassy 42 Ketch with among many other things a new teakdeck in 2015 and new Volvo 75hp engine in 2017. The owner has prepared this yacht for a long trip that has finally never been made unfortuntaly. She has received new standing rigging in 2017, new engine (just over 400 hours now) and since then new navigation equipment, a watermaker, solar panels and a windgenerator. So she can be used for long time off the grid travelling. In 2021 the underwatership has been cleaned to the gelcoat with new professional layers to be sure that osmoses will not have a change, also after many years in the water.
Like all Hallberg Rassy sailing yachts, the 42 is characterized by its high-quality workmanship and the beautiful interior. It is a very solid and safe bluewater yacht with a very good track record. This yacht is equipped with the fixed doghouse instead of a removable sprayhood. This has many advantages like real windows for better view, colder, more prtected and a great place for 1 of the solar panels on top. Also a cockpittent is installed in 2019. Normally the 42's have 2 wet cells, 1 for each cabin. The owner of this yacht has made a storageroom in the aft toilet area for extra storage. She is ready to take you anywhere!
