Noordkaper 43 for sale

The Noordkaper 43 in aluminum is a solid and luxurious sailing yacht, designed for both long and challenging sea voyages, as well as for trips along the coast (for example the Wadden Sea and the British coast; partly due to its shallow draft thanks to the retractable keel). The model was originally designed by Martin Bekebrede. Where earlier Noordkapers were often made of steel, the aluminum version is chosen because of the lower weight and low-maintenance properties, while retaining the robust appearance.

This Noordkaper 43 is a seaworthy and elegantly lined deck saloon cruiser, with a powerful round-bilge hull in aluminum. The ship is semi-custom built, which means that the layout, interior finish and technical equipment have been adapted to the wishes of the current owner. The design combines classic lines with modern technology, making the boat both aesthetically appealing and highly functional.

Interior and comfort

The spacious wheelhouse is a distinctive feature; with 360° visibility and ample seating, it makes for comfortable sailing in all weather conditions. Inside, the yacht offers a warm wooden interior, a fully equipped galley, a spacious owner's cabin with wet cell, and a guest cabin. Headroom is approximately 1.95 meters. Thanks to the good insulation and heating, this vessel is suitable for both polar regions and tropical destinations.

Sailing characteristics

The Noordkaper 43 combines stability and directional stability with surprisingly good upwind performance. The vessel can easily be sailed by two people. Thanks to the solid aluminum hull and the bow thruster, maneuvering is easy, even in harbors or in strong winds.

The boat is often positioned as a “go anywhere” expedition yacht, suitable for both world travel and comfortable living on board.
