Step aboard this beautiful Carena 36 Ketch, a classic from 1976 designed by the renowned Dutch yacht designer Mr. H. Lemstra. This robust, steel sailing cutter combines timeless elegance with true ocean-going performance. A boat for the true enthusiast who loves character, reliability, and adventure at sea.
The Carena 36 is known for her sturdy construction, stable sailing characteristics, and excellent balance under sail. Thanks to the ketch rig, the boat is easy to handle, even solo or with a small crew. The midship cockpit provides shelter during rough weather and ensures a safe place to steer and maneuver.
Inside you'll find a warm and characterful interior with plenty of woodwork and a smart layout. The saloon is spacious and cozy, with ample seating and a solid chart table. The galley is functional and equipped with all the necessary facilities for longer trips. There is sleeping space for four to six people, with a lockable cabin in the forepeak and extra berths in the saloon and aft. The wet cell is compact but practical, with a toilet and washing facilities.
This example is ready to sail but does still need some love. What makes the vessel particularly interesting, of course, is the Yanmar engine, newly fitted in 2020.
The Carena 36 is more than a yacht – it is a companion for those who consider the sea their home. A vessel that lives, breathes, and tells stories. Interested in this lovely vessel? Be sure to contact us to arrange a viewing appointment. We can be reached via +31 168 820 208 or info@wwy.nl
