More about the Catalina 36

The Catalina 36 we are offering on behalf of the 3rd private owner has just been serviced and is ready to sail. Over the past few years, several investments have been made, including a new furling system and forestay, and extensive engine maintenance. The dimensions clearly show that the American standard was applied, and the boat is exceptionally solidly built. This Catalina 36 is equipped with a wing keel, so the draft is limited to just 1.35 and a wide sailing area is accessible. The deck and cockpit are very spacious and entirely made of fiberglass, making the boat very easy to maintain. All lines are led aft, making the boat easy to sail. Skai cushions are available for the cockpit, and in the harbor you can enjoy relaxing at the lovely cockpit table.

The interior is remarkably spacious. Upon entering, the galley with all modern conveniences including a microwave is on the port side. The navigation area is on the starboard side. Amidships is a U-shaped seating area with two chairs opposite it. Both tables can be lowered and converted into a bed, allowing for a total of no fewer than 7 berths to be created. Forward of the mast is the wet room with shower and toilet. Right in the bow is a cabin with a V-berth. In the stern is a double cabin with a very spacious bed. This space can be closed off with a folding door. The engine has recently undergone extensive maintenance, including new engine mounts and propeller shaft with bearings.

If you would like to view this well-maintained yacht, we would be delighted to invite you for a viewing on board in Hoorn (NL). Please see the specifications for detailed information.
