The Hallberg-Rassy Monsun 31 is a renowned seaworthy design of which an exceptional number have been built. This design by Olle Enderlein from the late 1970s is characterized by good and calm sailing behavior and is a good example of the quality with which Hallberg-Rassy has rightly established its reputation as a shipyard. The boat we are offering you is well maintained and ready for use, with remarkably few significant signs of wear. What is special about this boat is that teak is only laid in the cockpit and not on the deck, which saves a lot of maintenance and thus costs. The mainsail is fitted with a roller reefing system on the boom, and the genoa is also on a furler.
The interior is very spacious for a 31-footer. Upon entering, the galley is on the port side and the navigation area is on the starboard side. The saloon table can be lowered, and the backrests in the saloon can be folded up for extra sleeping places. A night light has even been thought of. In the bow is the wet cell with toilet and pull-out sink. Right in the bow is a two-person cabin with a V-berth. The engine was replaced in 2005 with a Vetus 25 hp, which now has only 1,400 hours.
