More about the Jeanneau Sun Fast 36

The Sun Fast 36 built by the French Jeanneau shipyard is a well-maintained yacht from a private owner. Briand's design offers a lot of sailing pleasure due to its fine sailing characteristics and complete equipment, both above and below deck. The deck layout is practical and the placement of the Harken fittings is well chosen. All halyards and trim lines are led to the cockpit. From the steering position, the sheets are within reach so that the boat can also be easily sailed solo, and the navigation instruments are clearly mounted to the left of the cabin entrance in the cockpit. The genoa is on a furling system with the drum below deck. The sails are recent and in good condition, and the set consists of a mainsail (2009), original genoa, high aspect (2010), and spinnaker. The mast is sturdily stayed with rod rigging. The interior is made of high-gloss teak. The layout is traditional with two benches on either side in the salon and a table in the middle. It is striking that there is some paintwork on the floor, but otherwise the interior shows remarkably few signs of use. To the left of the entrance is an L-shaped galley with a double sink, cool box, stove, and oven. Opposite is the navigation corner with switch panel and VHF radio. There are two double berths in the bow and stern. The wet cell with washbasin is easily accessible and there is sufficient freedom of movement. If you are looking for a fast and well-sailing yacht for cruising and perhaps also want to race, then this Jeanneau Sun Fast 36 is a suitable choice. The boat can be viewed in Medemblik.
