The VanderValk Vitesse 59/61 widebody, built by shipyard WimVanderValk in Waalwijk (NL) is a Dutch quality yacht with great style and beauty. It is very spacious and comfortable and offers more than enough living space for up to 6 people easily. As building material for a steel hull with an aluminum structure was chosen. The side decks, aft deck and fly bridge are teak covered. The boat has two steering positions, one inside the room, and one on the fly bridge. This yacht has a very extensive set of navigation equipment and is easy to maneuver, also thanks to the bow thruster. The technical facilities are well thought of and well organized. The engine room has excellent sound insulation and is sealed with a heavy watertight door. Here are the two 480pk VolvoPenta 6 cylinder turbo-diesel engines that propel the boat. They drive two shafts with their four blade propellers. The electricity on board is provided by the 16 kVA Onan generator engine. The interior is finished with a light wood and floors are furnished with carpets. The salon is spaciously designed with a large sofa to port and cupboards to starboard with among other things, the radio / CD player and TV set. The rear deck is accessible through the large sliding door. This area can be protected from wind and rain with tent screens with windows. The stern furthermore has a large bathing platform and a boat in the davits. The galley with ceramic hob, combi oven / microwave and dinette are placed in the foreship.
