More about the Nimbus 35 DC Corona
The Swedish Nimbus yard needs no further introduction for those who have been sailing for some time. For years now the yard is famous for building safe and well build motor yachts. The sailors might be more familiar with the Maxi yachts build by the same company. Thus both sides appreciate the yards design and the Rolf Eliassen design is aimed at both comfort and seaworthiness.
A big plus of the design is the cabrio cover amidships. Here one sits sheltered from wind. In case of rain it is easily closed from the inside. Ideal! The cockpit on the aft deck has nice sofas round a folding table and offers place for a large company. The cockpit covers can be folded in parts, offering shelter from wind or sun. The table is convertible to a sunbed. Through a door in the stern there is access to the bathing platform, covered with teak, and here is a shower with hot and cold water. Through the hatches in the cockpit floor there is access to the engine room where the two Volvo Penta engines are mounted. Amidships is the steering position to the right, and a buddy seat to the left. In the dash and console is plenty of storage for items that need to be at hand while sailing. Under the steering position is a guest cabin with two single beds, accessible from two sides. More to the front we enter the cosy salon with galley. To the right is the head with washbowl, electrical toilet and shower. In the bow is a double cabin with washbowl. The Nimbus 35 DC Corona we now offer has undergone vast maintenance, refurbishing and upgrading. At request we send you the full list of all the work that has been done. Are you interested?
