The Eco Trawler 53 is designed for long distances. Specifying actual cruising speed is rather difficult, because it performs well both as a displacement hull and when planing. In some internet articles they say to having seen an exceptional 6.5 litres a nautical mile at 17 knots and 3200 revs (which means a range of over 400 miles), and also a more leisurely 11 knots, they mention achievable range of 600 miles. At 7 knots you can do two thousand nautical miles before having to refuel according to the article.
