This Smelne 1240 FB comes from the famous Smelne yard in Drachten. It is a beautiful and well maintained motor yacht with open cockpit and Large flybridge and a comfortable interior.

Very suitable for 2 people to enjoy a longer time on the water, although shorter trips are of course also very welcome.

From the easily walkable gangways there is access to the open cockpit, where you can sit nicely sheltered, there are fixed benches and a transom door central to the aft deck. Under the benches is storage space and under the cockpit floor is accessible through the spacious deck hatch a large "garage" where easily a number of (folding) bicycles can lie. Of course, other items can also be stored here.

From the open cockpit there is access to the (very spacious) flybridge. On this flybridge there is a midship steering position at the front.

Through a sliding door you enter the bright saon, it is spacious with to starboard an L-shaped bench seat and to port a closet. Also to port is the steering position with good views all around. Further forward is the galley and a wonderfully sheltered dinette.

In the bow is the spacious, lockable, sleeping cabin with a spacious French bed and toilet, and shower area. The shower to starboard and the toilet on the port side.

The boat was repainted not long ago on the outside in 2-component paint. The interior paintwork was addressed last winter (2023-2024), as well as proper maintenance on engine, reversing gear and propeller shaft. In other words, the ship is ready to sail for a new owner.
