More about the Bavaria 42 Match

Ready to sail Bavaria 42 Match, the perfect combination between racing and cruising. Spacious en comfortable as any other Bavaria but underneath lurkes a thoroughbred racer. As soon as you as see the ship you'll notice rightaway that there is something different with this Bavaria. The tall mast, large cockpit, the many lines and winches and large steeringwheel are all hints this is not your avarage Bavaria. This ship is made for sailing, fast sailing that is. Once on board standing in the cockpit you'll notice the spacious layout to house a full racing crew. An added bonus with that cockpit is when you are not racing but just relaxing in the sun, there is plenty of room to lay down and have a drink with friends and family. Within the ship you'll find an interiour that basically is the same as on a "standard" Bavaria 42; spacious, light and comfortable. In the aft of the ship are two double cabins with storage for clothing and such. A little forwards in the ship is at starboard a large navstation fitted. Right across the navstation is at portside a spacious wet cell with shower. Midships is the saloon and lengthwise placed galley. There is a comfortable U-shaped settee and a large table in the middle. The galley is practical and comes with everything you might expect like hot and cold running water, a fride, gas stove and oven and ampel storage space. In the forepeak of the ship is the owners cabin. Here is a large double bed that has been enlarged a bit by the current owner. Just for that extra bit of comfort. Interesting fact as well is that the owner replaced the standard 29hp engine for a 55hp Volvo Penta engine for that extra "umpf" when navigating strong currents and winds at the engine instead of sailing. Just for some extra reasurance that you will end up where you want to go, no matter what. If you are looking for the comfort Bavaria yachts are known for but also looking for that extra bit of sailperformance, this Bavaria 42 Match could be exactly what you are looking for! Interested?
