This Bavaria 40 in the three cabin layout and two wet cells makes a perfect family ship. This one in particular is well maintained and complete equipped with, among other things, a Webasto heating system, recently renewed furling genua and several navigational equipments. And it comes with a November 2009 survey rapport. The Bavaria 40 is easy to operate, even for a small crew. All sheets and halyards can be handled from the cockpit. And the mainsail and genua have both a furling system. The genua is replaced in 2007. At the helm is the navigational equipment installed such as a compass, wind, speed and depth and a separate multidisplay. The cockpit itself is very spacious and fitted with a teak finish at the settees and floor. The saloon is spacious and practical with a very large and comfortable U-shaped settee at starboard side and a lengthwise placed galley at portside. Lots of windows let daylight come in and offers perfect ventilation possibilities. This Bavaria has the three cabin layout. This means two large cabins in the rear section of the ship and one owners cabin in the forepeak. Al together berths for six.
