This van Rijnsoever schooner is an eye catcher in every port. This rugged design combines a number of possibilities that make the boat special. Remarkable is that the schooner rig can be operated so easily. Only the jib needs to be tacked. The other sails are self-tacking. The schooner rig makes the boat seaworthy because reefs can be made in small steps. The sails themselves are also manageable because of the small size. The wheelhouse also make this boat a full motor sailor with two steering positions. The boat can be beached easily thanks to the construction of the hull. The wheelhouse is equipped with a sofa and an inside steering position with hydraulic steering. Here are the basic instrumentation available. Amidships is the cozy salon with dinette to port and fine galley to starboard. The dinette can also be used as a 2 person bed. There is an additional pilot berth for one extra guest on board. To port is the toilet with washbasin. Totally front is a 2 person bed in V-shape. The boat has a central heating and a diesel heater. This sturdy ship is definitely worth a visit.
