More about the Friendship 35 Mark II

The Friendship 35 designed by the renowned naval architect Koos de Ridder is known for its excellent sailing performance and high quality construction. The Friendship 35 has a characteristic and timeless design. The ship was very modern in its time and still looks great today. This particular boat was built in sandwich construction and has various other modifications to the original design. She is very well maintained by her first owner over the last 19 years. The boat is equipped very complete and is fitted with many recent renewals. The cockpit has a practical layout with a steering wheel on a pedestal. The wide decks make her very accessible. The gelcoat still looks great after all these years in contrary to many of its counterparts of the same age. There is a complete set of navigation equipment, such as radar. Furthermore, some new Raymarine equipment is installed. The sails are very nice and there is equipment for a spinnaker but no sail yet. The demanding sailor can step on board this Friendship 35 and enjoy the fantastic sail performance right away, inshore and offshore! The teak interior is in a very good condition. The layout is practical and offers four fixed berths. In the saloon is the possibility for extra sleeping places for two more guests. The galley, which can be found at port side, is large and provided with everything you can expect on a ship as this one. The saloon breathes a social atmosphere and is in a good condition. Both in the rear and forward section is a double cabin. The head is in the starboard aft section In the passage through the forward cabin is an extra washbowl. The head is spacious and very light. Striking feature throughout the entire ship is the excellent ventilation. Provided by the many hatches in the deck. If you are looking for an affordable, high quality, spacious sailing yacht in a good condition, this boat might be it!
