More about the Carena 38

 This beautiful Carena/Bonaventura 38 is referred to be sold by the second owner. It is a wonderful sailing ship and very suitable for long-distance travel. The yacht is equipped with a safe mid cockpit, a not new, but very well maintained 56 Hp Perkins diesel. Every winter (from 1990) has the yacht wintered in a Hall.

The hull is built in Corten steel; one of the very good features is the very dense oxide skin, this protects the underlying material from oxygen, whereby the oxidation strong slows down. After 25 years sailing the owner has decided in 2016 to scour the entire underwater ship and rebuild; and allows the yacht to maintain for many years.
