More about the Contrast 362
The Contrast 362 is a typical Scandinavian sailing yacht, designed by Rolf Magnusson and built in Sweden at the Contrast Bator yard. The vessel is characterized by the low freeboard, the beautiful finish, both inside and outside and the above average sailing characteristics. On board is the relatively spacious cockpit and the logical layout of the deck fittings. This boat is made for sailing, that is clear. The gangways are easily accessible and exceptional for a Scandinavian yacht of this age the decks are not equipped with teak. This saves maintenance and a considerable expense in the long term.
Inside the ship everything is beautifully finished with teak and mahogany which gives a warm atmosphere to the ship. The layout is remarkably practical with a spacious galley on the starboard side and access to the wet cell with electric toilet. On the port side is the card table and the access to the aft cabin. In midship there are longitudinal benches with a table in the middle. An additional sleeping place can be made in the salon. In the forepeak is the second cabin and lots of storage space. A lot was invested in the ship in 2014 so that it is completely up-to-date again. For example, a new engine, sails, spray hood and cockpit tent have been purchased and many more items. The teak in the cockpit does need attention. If you are looking for a high-quality sailing ship with fine sailing characteristics then this ship is definitely worth it.
