The Bavaria 46 is one of the larger yachts in the program of the popular German shipyard. As much space as one finds on the smaller Bavaria's, this boat is really a spaceship. With her sleek lines, the ship looks modern and has excellent sailing characteristics.

The spacious cockpit with double steering position easily accommodates a large crew. From behind the steering wheel you can easily survey the entire ship. The spray hood can be easily folded down to provide an even better view. A tent can be zipped onto the spray hood so that the entire cockpit is covered. The navigation instruments, including a large Raymarine C120 plotter screen, are mounted on a central console so that they are easy to read from both steering positions. Each steering position is separately equipped with a compass. The engine and bow thruster controls are placed to starboard. All lines are led to the cockpit where with 4 large winches the sails can be trimmed. The ship has a furling mainsail and a furling genoa so it is easy to sail with a small crew.

Because of the many windows and hatches a lot of daylight enters the ship and the ship can be well ventilated. With its modern light cushions, the interior looks particularly spacious. The salon has a cosy sitting area with a U-shaped and freestanding sofa around the table. The galley is situated on the port side and has a double sink, cooker, oven and refrigerator. The ship has 4 cabins and 2 wet rooms. The owner's cabin is in the front ship, and has a spacious bed with excellent mattresses. On port side is a double cabin with bunk beds. There are 2 double cabins in the stern. The extra cabins can also be practical when there are not that many people on board, for example to store suitcases.
