Contest designs by Dick Zaal are popular with many sailors because of the good sailing characteristics, the robust construction and the large amount of space in the cockpit, on deck and below deck. The boat we offer was built in 1991 and has a modern look due to the gray striping and spray hood. The boat is in excellent condition. For example, the teak deck was re-caulked in 2015, the engine was overhauled in 2021 and many pieces of equipment have been renewed over the years. In addition, there is a double permanent forestay with two roller systems. This makes the boat very suitable for long sea voyages.

The mahogany interior is remarkably spacious compared to 36 foot designs from other yards. Next to the entrance is the navigation area to port and the galley to starboard. The saloon has a sofa to port and an L-shaped sofa to starboard. Both in the bow and in the stern is a double cabin, spacious enough for tall people. The aft cabin has a slatted base and very thick quality cushions. To port behind is a wet cell with extra storage space and a 2nd washbasin. Amidships between the saloon and front cabin is the toilet and shower room. The engine is easily accessible for service all around.
