More about the Compromis 999 Class
A Compromis 999 really needs no introduction for many water sports enthusiasts. In short, designer Frans Maas was commissioned to draw a ship for longer trips with lots of space below deck for a pleasant stay on board, even in bad weather. The Compromis 999 is a wonderfully robust and comfortable ship with pleasant sailing characteristics. She can be maneuvered effortlessly and smoothly, even by a smaller crew. All halyards and sheets are directed to the cockpit. Because the Compromis 999 has a center cockpit, you have plenty of space on deck and she offers an excellent overview of the surroundings from behind the helm. In short, a comfortable and easy to handle ship even when the weather conditions are a bit off.
Inside, the boat is surprisingly spacious and luxuriously furnished and finished. In the cabin there is a spacious round seat and a spacious chart table with its own seat. The galley is fully equipped with plenty of storage space and offers good support in all weather conditions. The complete standard equipment makes life aboard the Compromis 999 Class very pleasant. The ship for the sailor who likes to be pampered. Another striking feature is of course the aft cabin. Thanks to the ship's center cockpit layout, Frans Maas has managed to create a, for the length of the ship, particularly spacious aft cabin.
Looking for a proven solid and comfortable ship with fine sailing characteristics? Then the Compromis 999 is certainly worth your while. This one in particular has also been neatly maintained cosmetically and technically with, for example, a saildrive collar replaced in 2022.
