More about the Bekebrede 49
This by Martin Bekebrede designed yacht has it all for comfortable long journeys. Shorter trips on the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea are also very suitable.
Stepping aboard this beautiful, tough steel yacht noticed you like the build quality, this shows directly on the thickness and the processing of the teak deck, the size of the winches etc.
The center cockpit offers plenty of space for several people, all winches are well within reach and behind the wheel, you have all relevant information well in sight.
Stepping in the salon you can see the chart table to port, in front of that, the seating area and to starboard the galley. Much light is coming through the windows and partly by the use of blond teak interior is bright and cozy. Further forward on the port side is a cabin in which the workspace is; you can see it as a full office. To starboard is a wet cell in which the (large) washing machine has a prominent place. Up front in the bow is a spacious double cabin.
alongside the chart table to port back is the spacious owner's cabin with spacious French bed. Over to starboard around the central (motor) space is the head with shower and toilet. All cavities are converted into storage (cabinet) space making the whole very tidy.
In the central area, there is the engine, a Yanmar 4LH-TE with 110HP, and the Mastervolt Whisper 6000 generator. Also see here the whole is well organized and very tidy. All control points can be seen in a single glance.
On deck falls firmly carried rigging with a heavy mast. The anchor is heavy duty, with attached 80 meters chain. In short, everything breathes an air of solidity and safety off.
