More about the Colin Archer Kvase 45
Do you have a plan to make the trip of a lifetime? To leave all you have, and go to broaden your horizon? Then this is your ideal travel companion. This Colin Archer 45 kvase Designed by KP Kornaat and built by Bronsveen Yachting in 2003. This Shipyard is known for its flexibility and quality of construction of steel yachts. The difference between a standard Colin Archer and a CA "Kvase' is mainly in the length of the keel, where the Colin Archer has a long keel, the 'Kvase' half long keel. The biggest advantage of this construction is that the ship can sail better upwind. In the first 4 ½ years after its completion "Ayke" made a big round the Atlantic. From Iceland to the Caribbean. She is completely secure and she will pass all imaginable weather conditions with flying colors. If you come aboard via the transom, you’ll notice immediately the sheltered cockpit with the robust helm, the bimini, and the wide spray hood with the 3 large windows in it. Wide Gun whales lead to the bow of the ship. The mast is also robust and has steps to climb up. At the mast you can hoist the mainsail, de Jib and Yankee you’ll manage out of the cockpit. At the bow is the (35KG) ‘Kobra-Anchor’ with 80 meters of chain, attached to an electrical winch. When you step inside, you’ll step into the deck saloon, and you immediately notice the amount of light here. All around you can look outside. From the cozy sitting table you have a good sight on the navigation equipment, and with the extra Joystick you can sail the ship from this place in the night hours. The navigation corner is equipped with all modern equipment. If you go further to front and a step lower is the dinette with the Galley and a small corner to sit at and write. In front is the royal owner’s cabin with double slatted berth. (2.10x1.60) everywhere is storage space for your gear. This cabin is very spacious with headroom of 2.00meters Via the deck saloon there is a gangway to the stern with another spacious cabin. In the gangway is the toilet and separate shower. There is also the watertight door to the engine room. In the engine room is the reliable Perkins Sabre engine and all other electrical and hydraulical equipment. Even a small workbench is in this room. The aft cabin has also a double slatted berth (2.10x1.40) and is also spacious and light. This Colin Archer Kvase 45 is build at the highest standards and with a very well thought-out interior and exterior plan. As earlier mentioned, she is ready to sail for her next big (or smaller) Journey to faraway places. Please contact us at www.youryachtbroker.nl. Your yacht broker is Enno Dijkstra +31 6 2015 4890
