More about the Sunbeam 44
The Sunbeam 44 is a quality yacht, designed by J&J design and Austrian builder M. Schöchl. The yacht is designed as a long distance cruiser and also suitable to stay on board for a longer period of time. In addition to high quality finishing, luxury and plenty of living space inside the boat also has excellent sailing characteristics. The center cockpit is safe, high above the water, and provides good shelter at sea for the crew thanks to the spray hood with fixed windows. The Lewmar deck fittings such as mainsheet, genoa tracks and turning blocks are well placed. Around the cockpit are 3 Andersen ST electric winches thus sheets and trim lines can be trimmed at the touch of a button. The sail wardrobe consists of an in-mast furling mainsail, genoa and high aspect jib each mounted on a furler. For broad reach courses, there is a halfwinder. The interior is beautifully finished with solid teak. The salon has in the center a chic lounge area with light grey leather cushions. The galley to port has plenty of storage space for supplies and a large counter top. Right next to the stairs is the navigation area with chart table. There are two bedrooms. In the bow is a cabin with double and single bed and a separate bathroom. The owner's cabin can be reached by passages on both sides of the engine room. This cabin has a full size bed with excellent mattresses and seating on both sides. The boat has lots of storage under berths and in many closets. The Sunbeam 44 is a quality yacht, and sailors accustomed to Dutch and Scandinavian yachts will be pleasantly surprised by the many practical solutions and beautiful finish of this yacht.
