More about the Contest 36 S

The Contest designs by Dick Zaal are loved by many sailors for their good sailing performance and spacious interior. The boat that we offer is built in 1984 but has undergone a thorough refit. Thus, the teak deck is renewed in 2006, engine overhauled in 2005, and many pieces of equipment renewed. The boat is still in good condition and completely ready to go. The interior of mahogany looks neat and has a classic nautical atmosphere. Next to the entrance is on the left the navigation area and the galley to the right. The salon is spacious with a sofa left and right L - shaped sofa. Both in the bow and stern are double cabins, spacious enough for tall people. The engine is accessible around for maintenance. This is a yacht with style: robust and with lots of space both in the cockpit, on deck and below deck. The boat has been meticulously maintained over the years. The underwater ship got a new coat of antifouling in 2014. All in all this is an interesting boat for sailors with big plans. We invite you to come for a visit in Monnickendam.
