More about the Carena 36
The Carena 36 is built by shipyard "Hudson". This design of nautical architect Mr. de Geus is a very seaworthy yacht. The boat that we offer is in good condition and the current owner has carried out many improvements in recent years. Among others there has been invested in navigational equipment and electronics. The teakdeck is recently inspected and partially the sika is replaced. The boat has a charming look with lots of varnished wood. The yacht is constructed with steel hull and wooden deck and superstructure. There is an extensive sail wardrobe, all in usable condition. The interior is beautifully finished with mahogany. Remarkable is how nicely the boat still looks after many years of faithful service. Upon entering the galley is to the right. On the left is the navigation table with the necessary equipment. Amidships is the salon with sofas around, and a large folding table in the middle. The cushions are of good quality. Both the bow and the aft are double cabins. It must be said that the headroom in the aft is limited. The head is in front of the main bulkhead with toilet, and left large closets. The engine was replaced in 2000 and is found under the stairs. The entire casing can be removed and thus it is very accessible. The Carena 36 is a suitable yacht for sea journeys. The boat that we offer is fully ready to go.
