This Bavaria 37 is in an absolute top condition, both inside and outside. This Bavaria is now offered at an attractive price. This Bavaria is characterized by the very high quality of workmanship. A wonderful sailing ship, designed by J & J design with very little sailing miles and engine hours. These Bavaria’s were built according to the Lloyds Register, this guarantees a construction and build quality. In short, a dream boat for sale! The cockpit is spacious and offers lots of space for everybody. There are two spacious storage lockers under the cockpit benches, one of them is equipped with a number of shelves were some crates can be placed. There are four Lewmar winches and stoppers. At the swim platform you will notice the outside shower. Inside you also will immediately notice the high quality finish. Lots of solid woods were used, luxurious locks and all bulkheads were laminated to the hull and deck. All woodwork has been painted in the factory. The galley is spacious and equipped with an oven – fridge and a cooler. Both cabins offer lots of storage space and both offer a small bench. The wet cell is equipped with a Jabsco toilet, shower (hot / cold water) and a sink. Hot water can be used both on engine and shore power. For colder days there is a Webasto 3500 heating system. The upholstery and mattresses are all renewed. The lead keel with torpedo bulb combined with the deep draft rudder ensures fine sailing characteristics. The Selden mast is approximately 17.5 meters high and 7/8 rigged (rigging checked by Selden in 2014), and equipped with furling genoa and stowaway mast. The sails are barely used (Quantum, still crispy). The Genoa (135%) is equipped with a UV strip and can be reefed. All sails are fully operable from the cockpit. As an extra there is also a Gennaker. All lines have been replaced in 2014. The reliable Volvo Penta MD2030 is in a very good condition and combined with the fixed prop makes manoeuvring very easy. This engine has been serviced in 2014 which include impeller replacement. Also the fuel tank was checked for contamination. All electronics are working correct. There is a GPS, depth, speeds, wind meter (Autohelm ST50) and a Shipmate RS8300 VHF (inside + outside control). The entire condition of this Bavaria 37 can be described as “almost new”. The hull and superstructure have been polished and cleaned professionally (2014).
